Leader In Training (L.I.T) Program

Pleasant Bay Camp is once again offering a three week (July 15th- August 4th,2018) leadership training course. In order to qualify for this program you must have completed grade nine and be at least 14 years old.  It is an intense leadership course during which you will be challenged at a personal and spiritual level.  You will have an opportunity to see how all aspects of how a Christian camping ministry operates and get valuable hands on experience.  Included is a written / classroom aspect to the program.
 
Upon successful completion of the program, LIT's may be invited on staff for one week of voluntary service as a kitchen/dining or maintenance assistant. This week of service may be used for high school volunteer hours. There are many opportunities to get involved with God's ministry at Pleasant Bay Camp.  Volunteer and paid positions are available.  We believe that God can use your skills at Pleasant Bay Camp and we welcome anyone willing to serve. As an accredited charitable organization, we can provide a letter for credit towards your high school volunteer hours.

As a participant in the LIT program, we offer you a place as a camper during "Teen Week" at a cost of $240 (less than 50%). Are you interested in being a camper for that week? (August 13-19)*

Please read and respond to the following information: ALL campers are given the opportunity to try water-skiing and wake-board, and take part in tubing (a very popular attraction at camp) even if they do not sign up for water-ski camp. Anyone (water-ski campers, overnight campers, day campers, family campers, staff) who would like to participate in these activities will be required to sign a W.S.W.C. waiver form in order to participate. For participants 17 and under, the form must be signed by parent /guardian. Participants 18 years or older must sign the form for themselves.
