Our Vision
Our vision is to create a loving and supportive family atmosphere that embraces Christian values and encourages personal growth, as guided by Biblical principles. We strive to provide a safe, nurturing environment full of acceptance, understanding, and joy. We will work together to create a kind and welcoming community for all who come to PBC.
Our History
It all began 60 years ago. A group of visionaries dreamed of creating a Christian campground full of faith, family and fun within Prince Edward County. With commitment and sacrifice, they purchased a 255-acre farm that was put up for sale on the shores of Lake Ontario, Pleasant Bay and North Bay.
The summer of 1963 was the first year of the kids' camp. Money was scarce, but the sense of urgency was strong. Families that served at the Children's Camp also helped to establish the Family Camp. In the early 1970s, they cleared the land and set up their trailers and cottages.
With hard work and determination, their dreams became a reality. They followed God's guidance daily and trusted Him for the outcome.
Today, the Pleasant Bay Camp is a thriving campground filled with laughter and joy, a place that continues to honour God and the vision, commitment and sacrifice of the original founders.
Family Camp Cottage
Camping Season May to October, 2023
This charming cottage is the perfect getaway for a family looking to relax and unwind! It is fully equipped with all the amenities you need for a cozy stay.
The large eat-in kitchen has all the essentials, including dishes and cutlery, pots and pans, serving bowls, a crockpot, a toaster, two coffee makers, and a full-size fridge.
The kitchen is open to the dining area and living room, which are perfect for gathering with family and friends. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds and a large bunk room with two bunk beds and a table for board games. The bathroom has a large shower.
The cottage also has a front deck with a small table and chairs and a rear deck with a barbecue.
Please be sure to bring your own bedding and bathroom linens.
Short Term Stay Camp Sites
Our family trailer park offers two sites for short-term rental, each with hydro and three sites without hydro.
Each site includes access to washrooms with showers and a laundry facility.
